Vehicle Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Requirements
 
a. For Personal (Company Employees Only) Rentals :
 
 
i. Soft Copy KTP/KITAS/Passport.
 
 
ii. Soft Copy KK, NPWP, PBB, Employee ID Card.
 
 
iii. Driver’s license photo (Class A) for the car renter.
 
 
iv. Photo of a suitable and safe parking area.
 
 
v. Soft copy of the guarantor's rental document,employment letter, and company domicile letter
 
b. For Company Rentals :
 
 
i. Softcopy of the Company’s Deed of Establishment.
 
 
ii. Softcopy Company Tax ID.
 
 
iii. Softcopy Certificate of Domicile / Business Identification Number (NIB).
 
 
iv. Softcopy Decree from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
 
 
v. Softcopy ID Cards of the Directors and the Responsible PIC.
 
 
vi. User Identity: ID Card and Class A Driver’s License.
 
c. The prospective customer will be surveyed first after completing the required documents.
2. Vehicle Handover Process
 
a. The Vehicle Rental Agreement will be effective once the vehicle has been handed over to user.
 
 
i. When the driver from PT Tristar Rental Transindo arrives at the delivery location, the driver will wait up to one (1) hour for the user to confirm vehicle receipt in the Rental Vehicle Application
 
 
ii. If the vehicle is received by a representative of the User who rented the vehicle, the one-hour waiting period shall still apply from the time the vehicle arrives for acceptance.
 
 
iii. If the vehicle is not accepted within one (1) hour, the driver has the right to return the vehicle to the Tristar Pool, and the rental will be considered void.
3. Payment
 
a. Payment must be made one day before the rental period.
 
b. Payment shall be made via bank transfer : BCA A/N : PT Tristar Rental Transindo 683.0505.006
 
c. Cash payments are not accepted, payments are made via bank transfer. Please inform the payment transfer receipt to Customer Service.
4. Insurance
 
a. Passenger Vehicle Covered by All-Risk Insurance
 
 
i. Own risk fee Rp. 300,000 per incident.
 
b. Commercial Vehicles and Motorcycles with TLO Insurance
 
 
i. The deductible fee is 5% of the claim compensation value if the unit is lost or damaged over 75%.
 
c. Third Party Liability with a maximum coverage of Rp. 10,000,000 per incident.
5. Vehicle Rental Extension
 
a. Customers who want to extend their vehicle rental can apply again through the TR.ID app or contact our Customer Service.

6. Termination or Cancellation of Vehicle Rental Before the End of the Rental Period
 
a. Any termination or cancellation before the end of the rental period, user must return the vehicle to PT Tristar Rental Transindo and pay a penalty of 40% of the remaining rental value, including but not limited to payment for any damage to or loss of the rented vehicle and or its accessories.
 
b. If early return or reduction in the rental period, payments already made will be non-refundable.
 
c. Termination or cancellation of the unit before the end of the rental period immediately notify Tristar Rental Transindo by contacting the Customer Service phone number.
7. Rental Unit Delivery and Pickup
 
a. Fee
 
 
i. A fee will be charged if pickup and delivery are outside the Tristar Rental Transindo pool.
 
 
 
a) Zone 0: At the Tristar Pool or within a maximum of 5 km from the Pool — no fee will be charged.
 
 
 
b) Zone 1: Distance of 5 km to 15 km from the pool — Rp 75,000 fee.
 
 
 
c) Zone 2: Distance of 15 km to 30 km from the pool — Rp 100,000 fee.
 
 
 
d) Zone 3: Distance of 30 km to 50 km from the pool — Rp 150,000 fee.
8. Overtime
 
a. Overtime fee of 10% per hour based on the rental price for the chosen rental duration.
 
b. If overtime more than six (6) hours, the overtime fee will be charged as a full-day rental.
9. Terms of Use for Rental Vehicles
 
As a customer renting a vehicle from PT Tristar Rental Transindo, please make sure to follow a few important rules :
 
a. Follow traffic rules : Make sure to follow all road signs, markings, traffic lights, and speed limits. And everyone in the car, including you, should always wear a seatbelt.
 
b. Drive responsibly : Never drive if you're under the influence of drugs or alcohol, off-road driving, or using the vehicle for illegal purposes such as racing, political campaigns, or criminal activities is strictly prohibited. If the rental vehicle is used outside the Jabodetabek area please contact PT Tristar Rental Transindo and the vehicle may not be used for transporting commercial passengers.
 
c. Responsibility for Violations & Damages : Renters are fully responsible for any traffic fines or penalties incurred due to traffic violations.If there’s any damage or loss that isn’t covered by insurance (like if it happens because the renter didn’t use it properly or was careless), renters will be responsible for the costs based on the insurance policy. PT Tristar Rental Transindo isn’t required to provide a replacement vehicle.
 
d. Rights of PT Tristar Rental Transindo : PT Tristar Rental Transindo reserves the right to do background checks on the renter’s driver and to check the condition and location of the vehicle at any time during the rental period. The renter agrees and will not raise any objections to this inspection. If a traffic violation happens, please report immediately to Customer Service.
10. Rental Operating Hours
 
a. Monday–Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 WIB.
 
b. Saturday, 08.30 - 12.00 WIB.
